Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of a Greenfield manufacturing facility, managing the lifecycle from Basic Design through Detailed Engineering, Procurement, Installation, Commissioning, and Handover.
• Coordinate Design Management with consultants and internal SMEs to ensure the quality of PFDs, P&IDs, layouts, and technical drawings.
• Oversee construction and installation activities across civil, mechanical, electrical, and automation disciplines.
• Manage the Integrated Master Schedule, utilizing look-ahead schedules to monitor execution and lead recovery planning for delayed packages.
• Maintain strict cost control, including cash flow forecasting, invoice management, and Scope Change Order (SCO) management.
• Enforce strict adherence to EHS protocols and QA/QC standards to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain a live project risk register and implement proactive mitigation plans.
• Lead project governance through status meetings, design reviews, and stakeholder reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Civil engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience managing large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in Greenfield project execution from design through commissioning.
• Strong working knowledge of EPCM projects, vendor management, and site execution.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Primavera, MS Project, or Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience executing projects within Pharmaceutical, API, or Biologics environments.
• Deep understanding of GMP, regulatory, and validation requirements in pharma manufacturing.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage vendors and construction companies effectively.
