Project Manager - Naval Engineering and Industrial Design

Responsibilities

• Pilot industrial and technical projects from specifications to delivery
• Coordinate mechanical design offices, production, and subcontractors to meet deadlines, costs, and quality
• Manage project risks, budgets, and schedules
• Supervise the design of mechanical systems (structures, equipment, etc.)
• Validate technical studies and plans ensuring compliance with naval standards
• Act as the primary interface for internal/external clients and suppliers
• Negotiate contracts and monitor subcontractor performance
• Propose technical and organizational optimizations

Requirements

• Engineering degree or Master's degree (Bac+5) in industrial or mechanical engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, design office, or the naval/defense sector
• Proficiency in CAD software such as CATIA V5/V6 or SolidWorks
• Experience with V-cycle project management
• Experience in writing manufacturing processes and definition files
• Professional proficiency in English

• Knowledge of naval standards
• Leadership skills to lead multidisciplinary teams
