Project Manager MEP

Responsibilities

• Analyze electromechanical and special installations to ensure compliance with technical specifications and Mexican legislation
• Monitor contractor craftsmen and recommend improvement actions
• Evaluate construction drawings, technical specifications, and scope of works against project and international standards
• Develop construction schedules and cost estimates to support WBS and value engineering
• Contribute to risk analysis and update project risk matrices
• Oversee installation of process, electrical, and mechanical equipment
• Manage plant inspection for piping and equipment fabrication and installation
• Plan and execute checkout, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities
• Review and evaluate contractor bids during bid leveling
• Communicate regularly with client operations regarding site activities and system interfaces
• Prepare and present project reports and attend weekly meetings

Requirements

• 10 years of professional experience with at least 5 years as a Project Manager coordinating MEP design and construction
• Experience in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Data Center projects
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Proficiency with Electric, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Automation Systems
• Mandatory commissioning experience
• Fluency in English and Spanish
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and BIM

Preferred Qualifications

• PMI certification
• Experience with LEED projects
