Project Manager MEP

Responsibilities

• Analyze electromechanical and special installations to ensure compliance with technical specifications and Mexican legislation
• Elaborate and control reports and monitor contractor craftsman qualification
• Perform direct day-to-day monitoring of the work site for pipe and mechanical disciplines
• Evaluate construction drawings, technical specifications, and scope of works
• Develop construction schedules and cost estimates to support WBS and value engineering
• Contribute to risk analysis and update project risk matrices
• Oversee installation of process, electrical, and mechanical equipment
• Manage checkout, pre-commissioning, and commissioning planning and execution
• Review and evaluate contractor bids during bid leveling
• Communicate regularly with client operations regarding site activities and system interfaces

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager coordinating MEP design and construction
• Experience in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Hospitality projects
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering
• Proficiency with Electric, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Automation Systems
• Mandatory commissioning experience
• Fluency in English and Spanish
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and BIM
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools

Preferred Qualifications

• PMI certification
• Experience with LEED projects
