About the role
Responsibilities
- Analyze electromechanical and special installations to ensure compliance with technical specifications and Mexican legislation
- Elaborate and control reports and monitor contractor craftsman qualification
- Perform direct day-to-day monitoring of the work site for pipe and mechanical disciplines
- Evaluate construction drawings, technical specifications, and scope of works
- Develop construction schedules and cost estimates to support WBS and value engineering
- Contribute to risk analysis and update project risk matrices
- Oversee installation of process, electrical, and mechanical equipment
- Manage checkout, pre-commissioning, and commissioning planning and execution
- Review and evaluate contractor bids during bid leveling
- Communicate regularly with client operations regarding site activities and system interfaces
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager coordinating MEP design and construction
- Experience in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Hospitality projects
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering
- Proficiency with Electric, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Automation Systems
- Mandatory commissioning experience
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and BIM
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
Preferred Qualifications
- PMI certification
- Experience with LEED projects
