Project Manager MEP

Responsibilities

• Analyze electromechanical and special installations to ensure compliance with technical specifications and Mexican legislation norms.
• Perform direct day-to-day monitoring of the work site for mechanical and piping disciplines.
• Elaborate and control technical reports and monitor the qualification of contractor craftsmen.
• Evaluate construction drawings, technical specifications, and scope of works against project and client standards.
• Contribute to risk analysis, project risk matrices, and value engineering efforts.
• Manage the planning, scheduling, and execution of pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
• Review and evaluate contractor bids and participate in design reviews.
• Communicate regularly with client operations regarding site activities, stoppages, and system interfaces.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager coordinating MEP design and construction for Industrial, Manufacturing, or Hospitality projects.
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience with Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Automation Systems.
• Hands-on commissioning experience is required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal) for leading meetings and issuing reports.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, or Primavera P6.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMI certification.
• Experience working on LEED-certified projects.
