Project Manager — MEP & EV Charging Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of EV charging infrastructure projects in the UAE, from utility authority approval through commissioning and handover.
• Manage the full project lifecycle including design coordination, BOQ validation, procurement, execution, and snagging.
• Lead utility authority submissions and liaise with TAQA, DEWA, FEWA, SEWA, and other Emirates authorities.
• Manage sub-contractors and vendors across civil, electrical, and telecoms disciplines, ensuring performance against KPIs.
• Maintain project controls including schedules, cost logs, change orders, and RAID registers.
• Ensure site HSE compliance in line with OSHAD v4.0 and TAQA Distribution standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BEng / BSc).
• 3–5 years of full-cycle MEP project management experience specifically in Abu Dhabi.
• Proven track record of securing authority approvals (TAQA, ADDC, AADC, DEWA, FEWA, or SEWA).
• Deep expertise in Power Distribution systems (LV/HT cabling, sizing, protection coordination, transformers, etc.).
• Working knowledge of relevant IEC standards (IEC 60364, IEC 61439, IEC 61851).
• Valid UAE driving licence.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written).
• Proficiency in MS Office and project management software (MSP, Primavera, or Zoho).

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience with EV charging infrastructure (AC and DC) and OCPP-aware commissioning.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or CAPM certification.
• OSHAD competent person, IOSH, or NEBOSH IGC certification.
• Familiarity with the Zoho software stack (Projects, Books, Zuper).
