Responsibilities
- Manage project scope, schedule, and budget
- Monitor time charges and adjust projects to stay within budget
- Recognize scope creep and negotiate contract adjustments
- Provide status updates to internal and external stakeholders
- Make final decisions for all survey and staking technical matters
- Review deliverables for quality control and company standards
- Coordinate project submittals with local municipalities
- Maintain close contact with clients to ensure satisfaction
- Foster long-term client relationships and cross-sell services
- Provide feedback on staff performance and training needs
- Maintain a safe work environment and assess potential hazards
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (AAS or BS degree preferred)
- Professional Land Surveyor license (or significant expertise with 5+ years as Assistant Project Manager)
- 8+ years of experience with at least 2 years as an Assistant Project Manager
- Construction Staking experience
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Carlson software
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Knowledge of municipal GIS and county register of deeds sites
