Responsibilities

• Ensure the site is run in a safe and efficient manner
• Maximize the commercial performance of the contract
• Produce procurement schedules and liaise with the procurement department to ensure adequate resources
• Continually forecast costs, manage scope, and manage unplanned construction work costs
• Report risks and opportunities to the senior management team
• Deliver work to specified quality without defects
• Ensure production and implementation of Project Plans, RAMS, ITP’s and waste management plans
• Maintain detailed site diaries and records while driving out cost through commercial tension

Requirements

• Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• SMSTS certification
• Proficient in NEC4 contracts (Option A)
• Experience in Design Management Programme & Risk Management
• Experience in production of CVR, including cost control, forecasting, and value assessment
• Broad civil background, specifically sheet piling and construction of RC chambers
• Ability to manage and deliver successful projects with minimal guidance
