Project Manager IV

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary IT liaison and airport representative for large-scale aviation IT infrastructure and system integration projects.
• Direct and manage the IT scope implementation, serving as the main contact for IMT, CBP, and TSA.
• Oversee the buildout and commissioning of IT rooms, networks, and cabling systems.
• Lead integration workshops for terminal systems including passenger processing, CCTV, baggage handling, and aircraft guidance.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity teams and contractors to ensure all systems meet LAWA ecosystem security requirements.
• Manage project costs, validate IT scope implementations, and develop construction activity plans.
• Oversee the project closeout process to ensure all documentation is completed efficiently.

Requirements

• Minimum of 15 years of professional experience, preferably within airport environments.
• Proven track record managing large-scale projects valued at $100M+.
• Extensive experience with various delivery methods, specifically Progressive Design-Build.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Aviation, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Planning, or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as PMP, PE, LEED, AAAE, AICP, or PMI-SP.
• Familiarity with CAD or REVIT.
• Experience with digital content management systems and specialized airport IT systems.

• Salary range of $219,000 - $224,000.
