Project Manager II

Responsibilities

• Oversee the execution and process of assigned projects, ensuring they meet departmental requirements, standards, and deadlines.
• Develop realistic project plans, schedules, and work breakdown structures by analyzing resource requirements and task dependencies.
• Monitor and report project status, including risks, issues, milestone achievements, and resource requirements, to stakeholders and leadership.
• Manage change management strategies and facilitate change requests to inform all parties of impacts on schedule and budget.
• Coordinate with product teams, content creators, and other stakeholders to align priorities and progress.
• Document project deliverables, decisions, and lessons learned through retrospective work on completed projects.
• Track project costs to ensure alignment with established budgets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Three years of experience in project management, including responsibility for initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Proven experience applying change management methodologies and practices.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in using project management systems and tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
• Five or more years of experience in project management.
• Experience in higher education or program development.
• Master's degree in a relevant field.
