About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee the execution of assigned projects, ensuring they meet departmental requirements, standards, and deadlines.
- Develop realistic project plans, schedules, and work breakdowns by analyzing resource requirements and task dependencies.
- Monitor and report project status, including risks, issues, milestone achievements, and resource requirements, to stakeholders and leadership.
- Manage the intake of new requests and validate that appropriate requirements are included.
- Coordinate with multiple teams, including product and content creators, to align priorities and progress.
- Document project deliverables, decisions, and lessons learned through retrospective work.
- Monitor change management strategies and facilitate change requests to communicate impacts on schedule and budget.
- Track project costs to ensure alignment with established budgets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Three years of experience in project management, including responsibility for initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Proven experience applying change management methodologies and practices.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in using project management systems and tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Experience in higher education or program development.
