About the role

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and manage all phases of assigned IT projects, including scope definition, scheduling, and resource coordination.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and key delivery milestones.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Monitor and communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and issues to stakeholders to ensure transparency.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and foster collaboration between technical, business, and vendor partners.
  • Manage project budgets, vendor deliverables, and change orders to ensure financial accountability.
  • Identify and remove project blockers to support consistent delivery and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, or a related field (equivalent relevant experience may be considered).
  • Minimum 2 years of progressive project management experience.
  • Proficiency in Agile, hybrid, and traditional project management methodologies.
  • Experience using project and productivity tools such as Jira, MS Project, and Excel.
  • Ability to manage project budgets and oversee vendor deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Scrum Master Certification.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Project+, or Prince2 Certification.
  • Experience working within technology or higher education sectors.
  • Deep experience with Agile development lifecycles.
