Project Manager II

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple implementation projects across various scopes, managing the full project life cycle from initiation to closing.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, aligning stakeholders and team members to achieve project goals.
• Monitor project performance using appropriate tools to identify variances in time, cost, scope, or quality, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage project budgets and work closely with finance teams to oversee and report on project financials.
• Document and mitigate high-level risks, assumptions, and constraints through proactive issue resolution plans.
• Interface with senior and executive management to communicate project status, risks, and executive briefings.
• Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs in accordance with change management plans.
• Work with third-party providers and vendors to ensure contractual commitments are met.
• Drive process improvement initiatives and capture lessons learned to enhance project management methodologies.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of dedicated Project Management experience and 7+ years of total professional experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience in the HR Consulting, payroll, or outsourcing industry.
• Experience with vendor management and working with global customers or team members.
• Strong proficiency in project management processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience in direct client contact and high-level management reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP or PRINCE2 certification (or willingness to obtain certification within 12 months).
• Experience managing mid-to-high volume projects with tight timelines and multiple business priorities.
