Project Manager II

Responsibilities

• Independently lead multiple projects with varying scopes, including Strada Pay, VPS, and Workday.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, aligning stakeholders and team members to achieve project goals.
• Monitor project performance using appropriate tools to identify variances in time, cost, scope, or quality.
• Manage project budgets and work closely with finance teams to oversee and report on project financials.
• Document and mitigate high-level risks, assumptions, and constraints.
• Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs in accordance with change management plans.
• Interface with senior and executive management to communicate project status through reports and briefings.
• Drive process improvement initiatives and capture lessons learned during project closing.
• Act as a coach or buddy to newly joined Project Managers.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of Project Management experience and 7+ years of total professional experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Proven ability to work North America business hours.
• Experience managing mid-to-high volume projects with tight timelines and multiple priorities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience in direct client contact.
• Experience working with global customers and team members.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP or PRINCE2 certification (or willingness to obtain within 12 months).
• Experience in the HR Consulting, payroll, or outsourcing industry.
• Experience in vendor management.
