Project Manager II

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall planning, execution, and reporting of a portfolio of complex, high-risk projects and programs.
• Define project scope, goals, objectives, and deliverables while developing integrated cross-functional plans and schedules.
• Manage the work efforts of cross-functional project teams to ensure delivery according to program plans.
• Identify project issues and proactively implement mitigation plans to resolve impacts on scope, budget, or resources.
• Track key milestones and perform quality reviews of deliverables to ensure compliance with established standards.
• Prepare detailed status reports and provide updates to internal staff, senior management, and leadership teams.
• Collaborate with department managers to identify process improvements aimed at reducing costs and increasing quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Science, or a related field.
• Five years of experience directly leading projects across multiple technologies and functions.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP) or completion of a recognized project management curriculum.
• Two years of experience in a manager or supervisory role.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with MS Project is highly desired.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience working in life sciences, GMP, government contracting, or other highly regulated industries.
