Project Manager II

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and report on a portfolio of complex, high-risk projects and programs to achieve strategic objectives.
• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and develop integrated cross-functional plans and schedules.
• Manage work efforts of cross-functional teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
• Identify project issues and proactively implement mitigation plans to resolve risks and impact.
• Track key milestones and utilize approved change management practices to adjust resources and schedules.
• Coordinate communication across the company to escalate changes in scope, budget, or risk to senior leadership.
• Lead project team members in the use of standardized project management methods, tools, and processes.
• Partner with department managers to identify process improvements to reduce costs and increase resource efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Science, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience directly leading projects across multiple technologies and functions.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP) or completion of a recognized project management curriculum.
• 2 years of experience in a manager or supervisory role.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with MS Project is highly desired.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience working in life sciences, GMP, government contracting, or other highly regulated industries.
