Project Manager II

Responsibilities

• Manage one or more moderately complex projects involving regional clients or multiple services
• Oversee all project phases from inception to closeout
• Supervise senior engineers, project administration, controls, scheduling, and procurement staff
• Act as Owner's Authorized Representative (OAR)
• Provide leadership to architects, engineers, and design team consultants
• Manage design phase costs, budgets, schedules, and client reporting
• Coordinate jurisdictional approvals, permitting, and stakeholder management
• Review construction project progress, change orders, and payment applications
• Resolve complex construction disputes and disagreements

Requirements

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of relevant professional experience
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software
• Knowledge of construction management procedures and industry practices

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing facilities design or capital projects
• Experience with Division of the State Architect (DSA)
• Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM)
• Experience with progressive design-build and projects exceeding $10M
• Knowledge of local worker PLAs, prevailing wage, and public works projects
• Valid Architect or Professional Engineer license in California
• CCM, LEED, or DBIA certifications
