Project Manager II

Responsibilities

• Manage one or more moderately complex projects involving regional clients or multiple services
• Oversee all project phases from inception to closeout
• Supervise senior engineers, project administration, controls, scheduling, and procurement staff
• Act as Owner's Authorized Representative (OAR)
• Provide leadership to architects, engineers, and design team consultants
• Manage design phase costs, budgets, schedules, and client reporting
• Coordinate jurisdictional approvals, permitting, and construction logistics
• Review change orders, construction progress, and contract administration
• Perform fiscal management and verify applications for payment
• Resolve complex construction project disputes and disagreements

Requirements

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of relevant professional experience
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software
• Understanding of design, construction, and industry practices

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing facilities design or capital projects
• Experience with Division of the State Architect (DSA)
• Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM)
• Experience with progressive design-build and projects over $10M
• Knowledge of public works, prevailing wage, and DIR experience
• Valid Architect or Professional Engineer license
• CCM, LEED, or DBIA certifications
