Project Manager I

Responsibilities

• Manage the Climate Resilient Cities - NURTURE project through design, start-up, implementation, monitoring, and close-out
• Coordinate with donors, government partners, service providers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective delivery
• Supervise project staff, support team development, and manage performance and well-being
• Track project performance data, identify implementation issues, and support learning and adaptive management
• Contribute to project design, proposal development, and partnership strengthening for climate resilience initiatives
• Oversee planning and use of financial and material resources to support efficient project execution

Requirements

• Master’s degree in international development, environmental science, or a related field
• 2-3 years of field-based project management or coordination experience, preferably with an international NGO
• Experience working on climate resilience, climate adaptation, climate financing, or related environmental programs
• Proficiency with MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong written and verbal communication, critical thinking, and relationship management skills
• Fluency in English and Filipino
• Willingness to travel as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with government agencies and local partners on environmental or climate programs
• MEAL experience and familiarity with project performance analysis
• Experience contributing to technical proposals and partnership development
• Background in nature-based solutions, biodiversity, or conservation initiatives
