About the role
Responsibilities
- Support and implement Project HSE Management Systems and incident reporting procedures
- Provide advice to Project Directors on HSE objectives and processes
- Ensure compliance with legislative changes and contract requirements
- Develop and deliver effective HSE training to project personnel
- Lead HSE meetings, audits, and reviews
- Implement and maintain formal risk assessment processes
- Review contractor HSE plans, method statements, and risk assessments
- Identify HSE hazards and evaluate risks for all project activities
Requirements
- Relevant degree and professional qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of HSE practitioner experience in a related sector
- Minimum NEBOSH IGC qualification
- IOSH membership or similar professional association
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication and leadership skills
