Project Manager, Green Economy

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning and tracking, and coordinate cross-functional project teams
• Support program management including tracking milestones, reporting on metrics, and managing stakeholder relationships
• Support project estimating, budgeting, and forecasting
• Support procurement drafting, outreach, due diligence, and contracting
• Conduct research, data gathering, financial modeling, and industry trend analysis
• Draft presentations and memoranda for senior staff and external partners
• Assist with engagement of private, public, and nonprofit entities
• Execute events such as roundtables and advisory council meetings
• Contribute to team building and departmental development

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree required
• 2+ years of professional experience in clean energy infrastructure, business development, or management consulting
• Proficiency with industry research, project management, and financial analysis
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking
• Ability to prioritize competing needs and solve complex challenges
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• NYC residency required within 180 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree relevant to the green economy
