About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare a compliance strategy for Batteries and Deforestation regulations to minimize compliance costs
- Act as a subject matter expert within the Airbus Group regarding the impact of these regulations
- Develop methodologies to assess the impact of environmental regulations on equipment characteristics and material sources
- Build and interact with Multi-Functional Teams (MFT) including procurement, engineering, customs, and environmental affairs
- Ensure the delivery of required data to customs and regulatory authorities through established processes
- Support the implementation of BMS methodology for both battery and deforestation regulations
- Manage the M&P Masterlist generation process and support DataLake improvements
- Prepare transversal implementation systems to ensure continuous compliance for similar future regulations
Requirements
- Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
- Demonstrated understanding of batteries and deforestation regulations
- Previous experience in regulation implementation
- Experience with BMS processes and requirements management
- Experience working within the aerospace industry
- Strong analytical abilities and a structured way of working
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in English at a negotiation level (additional languages like German, Spanish, or French are a plus)
- Ability to work in a multicultural European team environment and willingness to travel regularly
