Project Manager for Batteries and Deforestation regulations

Responsibilities

• Prepare a compliance strategy for Batteries and Deforestation regulations to minimize compliance costs
• Act as a subject matter expert within the Airbus Group regarding the impact of these regulations
• Develop methodologies to assess the impact of environmental regulations on equipment characteristics and material sources
• Build and interact with Multi-Functional Teams (MFT) including procurement, engineering, customs, and environmental affairs
• Ensure the delivery of required data to customs and regulatory authorities through established processes
• Support the implementation of BMS methodology for both battery and deforestation regulations
• Manage the M&P Masterlist generation process and support DataLake improvements
• Prepare transversal implementation systems to ensure continuous compliance for similar future regulations

Requirements

• Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
• Demonstrated understanding of batteries and deforestation regulations
• Previous experience in regulation implementation
• Experience with BMS processes and requirements management
• Experience working within the aerospace industry
• Strong analytical abilities and a structured way of working
• Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in English at a negotiation level (additional languages like German, Spanish, or French are a plus)
• Ability to work in a multicultural European team environment and willingness to travel regularly
