Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Drive the successful execution of high-impact projects through end-to-end ownership, ensuring delivery meets quality standards and budget expectations.
• Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation through implementation, adhering to the Software Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Oversee program goals, monitor expenditure, and ensure effective quality assurance both internally and externally.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders and FNZ customers to manage expectations and align with delivery planning.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead and motivate virtual, multi-location teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
• Coordinate with various directorates and third-party suppliers to agree on scope, timelines, and required outcomes.

Requirements

• Proven experience in end-to-end project ownership within the financial services sector.
• Strong technical background with a solid understanding of the Software Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder management and building trusted relationships with senior clients.
• Proficiency in risk and issue management, including the creation and execution of mitigation plans.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with experience managing distributed teams.
• Ability to manage project financials, including budgeting, estimating, and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within a regulated financial environment.
• Knowledge of cloud computing and its application in financial services.
• Experience managing third-party supplier contracts and delivery.
