Project Manager, Finance Operations

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end project execution across Finance Operations, including payroll system enhancements and accounts payable automation
• Coordinate DOE billing processes to ensure documentation accuracy and timely submission
• Serve as a liaison between Finance, HR, School Operations, and external vendors
• Optimize finance technology platforms including procurement, ERP, and HRIS systems
• Develop project plans, SOPs, training materials, and process documentation
• Leverage data and analytics to measure project success and inform decision-making

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in project management or finance/business operations
• Experience with ERP, procurement, payroll, or HRIS platforms (e.g., NetSuite, Workday, Coupa, Zip)
• Strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
• Proficiency with project management tools like Asana, Jira, Monday.com, or Trello
• Understanding of financial controls and payroll compliance
