Project Manager, Facilities Management

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of capital projects including lab buildouts, renovations, and HVAC/MEP upgrades
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk registers
• Manage vendors, architects, and general contractors to ensure quality and safety
• Partner with scientific, operations, engineering, and EHS teams to align project scope with research requirements
• Own permitting, inspections, and regulatory compliance for all active projects
• Support capital planning through project data and cost forecasts

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience managing facilities capital projects
• Experience delivering projects in a lab, cleanroom, or technical facility environment
• Demonstrated experience managing vendors, architects, and general contractors
• Working knowledge of MEP systems and construction methods for technical environments
• Proficiency in project planning, budget management, and contract administration

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in biotech, pharma, or R&D facility environments
• Familiarity with permitting and regulatory requirements for life sciences
• Experience supporting capital planning and portfolio-level cost forecasting
• PMP or equivalent project management certification
