Project Manager - Facilities & Capital Projects

Responsibilities

• Structure and manage detailed, end-to-end project plans, ensuring stakeholders meet established scopes and timelines.
• Drive project execution across all domains to meet success criteria and value realization.
• Lead project definition and initiation, including business case development and technical feasibility assessments.
• Develop detailed project plans considering commercial, technical, legal, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget using formal change management processes.
• Monitor project performance regarding scope, budget, schedule, and quality using appropriate tools.
• Identify project risks, maintain risk/issue logs, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate activities across interdisciplinary teams, including procurement, operations, and quality.
• Contribute to the development of project management standards, templates, and toolkits.

Requirements

• Post-secondary Engineering or other technical degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing or leading complex technical projects.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or a similar credential is required.
• Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational skills with a systematic approach to tracking dependencies and resolving outstanding items.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within the nuclear sector.
• Experience applying various project management methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, and visual management.
