Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of catalyst and licensing solutions by overseeing process design and technical oversight for engineering contractors.
• Monitor and lead junior engineers in developing process design specifications, including heat and material balances and equipment design.
• Provide technical oversight during PDP, FEED, and EPC phases to ensure consistency with company methods and project specifications.
• Lead process optimization studies to identify capital and operating cost savings and evaluate process configuration alternatives.
• Manage technical-commercial customer engagements, identifying process needs and proposing suitable technologies and engineering solutions.
• Coordinate proposal preparation by working with engineering and commercial teams to deliver high-quality technical and commercial bids.
• Provide commissioning and start-up assistance for new or modified facilities.
• Lead new programs for engineering development and the commercialization of pilot plant technologies.

Requirements

• BS/MS degree in Chemical Engineering or an equivalent field.
• 10+ years of demonstrated experience in the petroleum refining or chemical process industry.
• Expertise in downstream and chemical technologies.
• Proven experience in process start-up and commissioning or plant operations.
• Proficiency in process design, simulation, and developing basic process design specifications.
• Strong understanding of capital cost estimation and project development schedules.
• Experience working with global and local engineering contractors.
• Familiarity with general industry engineering standards and techno-economic evaluation concepts.
