Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the complete redesign of the microbiology laboratory, from initial design and planning to operational implementation
• Develop project specifications, construction schedules, and manage budgets to ensure respect for deadlines and costs
• Coordinate various internal and external stakeholders, including architects, design offices, suppliers, and contractors
• Redesign laboratory layout, including zoning, workflow, and space organization
• Define equipment needs, including analytical instrumentation, furniture, and essential infrastructure (gas, water, electricity, HVAC)
• Integrate regulatory requirements regarding quality and safety
• Optimize ergonomics, productivity, and workflow efficiency for the future laboratory
• Provide operational project follow-up in close collaboration with the Laboratory Director

Requirements

• Engineering degree or PhD in microbiology, biology, food science, or an equivalent field
• 3 to 5 years of management experience, ideally within a laboratory environment
• Proven experience in project management (planning, coordination, and multi-stakeholder management)
• Strong knowledge of technical laboratory constraints, including workflows and equipment organization
• Experience in building projects, facility layout, or construction works is a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and the ability to manage stress and priorities
