About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of multi-sector energy infrastructure projects including natural gas, electric transmission, and renewables
- Develop integrated project schedules aligned with environmental studies, engineering, and construction
- Oversee technical deliverables such as routing studies, NEPA materials, and permit applications
- Lead siting and routing for pipelines, transmission lines, and data center interconnections
- Manage environmental field studies including biological, cultural, and wetlands assessments
- Develop comprehensive permitting roadmaps across federal, state, and local jurisdictions
- Drive business development through proposal writing, contract negotiations, and client relationship management
- Represent the company at industry events and regional energy forums
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience managing energy infrastructure project lifecycles
- Deep understanding of FERC, NEPA, Clean Water Act, and local land-use processes
- Proficiency with project management tools and logic-linked scheduling
- Proven track record in proposal writing and business development
- Ability to travel for field visits, client meetings, and agency coordination
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ISO/RTO planning frameworks and interconnection requirements
- Expertise in Solar + Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) feasibility assessments
- Knowledge of Right-of-Way (ROW) strategy and landowner coordination
