Project Manager - Engineering

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets using WBS and critical path analysis
• Implement Earned Value Management (EVM) for cost and schedule performance tracking
• Manage stakeholders through structured communication plans and regular meetings
• Develop and maintain a Risk Matrix to identify and mitigate project risks
• Plan and allocate manpower, machinery, and tools to optimize productivity
• Control material requirements, procurement, and inventory levels
• Conduct design reviews for manufacturing feasibility and process optimization
• Lead, mentor, and manage project teams to achieve defined objectives
• Evaluate and select vendors and develop alternate sourcing strategies
• Generate progress reports and prepare assembly-wise project budgets

Requirements

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical engineering
• 10-15 years of experience in project management within metals, mining, manufacturing, or heavy engineering
• Hands-on experience with MS Project or similar project management software
• Proficiency in ERP systems and reporting tools
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certification
