Project Manager, Energy Storage

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients throughout all project stages
• Manage full project execution scope including safety, schedule, budget, and commissioning
• Develop and monitor project schedules using industry-standard tools
• Own project budgets, including monthly forecasting and variance tracking
• Identify and mitigate project risks related to cost, safety, and quality
• Lead contract negotiations with EPCs, subcontractors, and vendors
• Manage change orders, RFIs, NCRs, and other project documentation
• Oversee invoice reviews and approvals
• Foster relationships with suppliers and partners to ensure delivery performance
• Support contract close-out and final documentation handover

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related technical field
• Minimum 5 years of progressive energy project management experience
• Experience in battery energy storage (BESS) or related fields preferred
• Experience managing EPC contractors and negotiating construction contracts
• Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera, or similar scheduling tools
• Strong understanding of project controls and risk management
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
• Willingness to travel to project sites in the U.S. and Latin America
