About the role
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate assigned electrical ICI construction projects from start to finish
- Provide leadership regarding cost, schedule, quality, safety, and contract performance
- Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders, clients, consultants, and subcontractors
- Manage construction schedules, milestones, and labor productivity
- Prepare project estimates and negotiate changes in scope
- Monitor and report on progress, budget, cost, and forecasts
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and contract requirements
- Review contracts and WIP for risk areas and correct deficiencies
Requirements
- 5+ years of Project Management experience in a unionized construction company
- Experience working on large-scale electrical ICI projects
- Education in Project Management, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or Red Seal Electrical Journeyperson status
- Intermediate knowledge of construction estimation, scheduling, and design interpretation
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Project)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Accubid
- Experience with JD Edwards or Oracle-based ERP systems
