Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage Operations investment projects, ensuring safety, timeliness, budget adherence, and specification compliance
• Promote collaboration within Engineering teams with a focus on results and Operational Excellence
• Support Plant Master Plan development and manage Capex planning and execution
• Oversee internal lead disciplines, purchasing, construction, and project managers throughout capital project phases
• Develop project estimates, submit summaries for approval, and ensure project reviews including design, hazards analysis, and constructability
• Prepare engineering design packages, manage permits, oversee construction costs, safety reviews, and project closeout processes

Requirements

• BS degree in Engineering, with Mechanical or Chemical preferred
• 5-10 years of experience executing major construction capital projects
• Experience in Chemical or ingredients manufacturing environments
• Strong knowledge of Process engineering, Project engineering, or Maintenance
• Deep understanding of Operations, Capital projects, and Engineering KPIs to drive OEE and yields improvement
• Experience with building construction management and installation of capital projects in the Latin America Region (LAM)
• Knowledge of GMP manufacturing practices
