Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee marketing projects from initial scope through final delivery to ensure client expectations are met.
• Actively engage in client outreach to understand immediate and future departmental needs.
• Maintain open communication with colleagues, on-campus partners, and vendors regarding project status.
• Manage project revisions, feedback, and the accuracy of edits to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Coordinate and schedule meetings with clear outcomes to drive project progress.
• Handle departmental billing responsibilities, including sending project bids, requesting quotes, and processing invoices.
• Maintain physical and digital archives of projects, estimates, print materials, and invoices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, advertising, or a related field.
• Two years of project management experience.
• Proficiency in Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Drive, Sheets, etc.).
• Experience using project management software.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure with tight deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing a team or day-to-day office operations.
• Experience working with production or creative teams.
• Background in higher education.
• Professional experience in print production, commercial printing, or publishing.
• Familiarity with print production processes, specifications, and vendor management.
