Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and supervise the camp team
• Contribute to mentorship, training, and operational coaching programs
• Provide operational support, including on-the-ground support and logistics
• Support initiatives related to Indigenous Peoples
• Perform, review, and approve site administration including reports, schedules, and payroll
• Maintain relationships with on-site client representatives and stakeholders
• Identify project risks, issues, and challenges early
• Ensure compliance with quality control and quality assurance through daily inspections
• Implement and monitor occupational health and safety policies
• Communicate project expectations effectively to team members
• Provide weekly reports and collaborate with the Operations Manager

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience managing kitchen or housekeeping teams
• Post-secondary education in hospitality management, catering, or a related field
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to coach and engage teams
• Experience working in regional or remote labor camps is a strong asset
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Experience with scheduling and operational management tools
• Proven ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and workforce planning
• Ability and willingness to work in remote locations on a rotational basis
