Project Manager, Data Team

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end project management for data initiatives, including intake, scoping, and requirements gathering
• Take responsibility for project execution, meeting goals, quality of work, and profitability
• Lead and motivate project contributors to inspire a shared vision and ownership of outcomes
• Partner with team leads to vet, scope, and kick off assignments while managing milestones
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including timelines, budgets, and scoping documents
• Lead communications and change management across the project lifecycle
• Serve as the primary coordination point across Data Engineering, Analytics, Legal, and Finance
• Anticipate risks, surface dependencies, resolve blockers, and escalate when needed
• Build and improve scalable infrastructure for data project delivery, including SOPs and playbooks
• Manage stakeholder relationships to promote trust

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of project management experience or related experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across engineering, data science, legal, and finance departments
• Superb attention to detail and sound judgment
• Comfort driving process improvement

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven track record managing large, cross-functional data or technical projects
• Experience managing a high volume of projects in parallel
• Experience with data, engineering, or analytics project types
