Project Manager - Cyber Security

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management for cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring seamless execution and delivery
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and status reports to keep stakeholders informed
• Collaborate across Security, IT, Product, Engineering, and Compliance teams to align priorities
• Identify risks and dependencies, implementing proactive mitigation strategies
• Optimize resource allocation for maximum project efficiency and effectiveness
• Provide regular reports and metrics to management and executive teams to showcase improvements in security posture
• Drive continuous improvement in project management practices and governance
• Build and foster cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
• 6+ years of proven project management experience, ideally within cybersecurity or information security
• Strong expertise in Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
• Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, and Office 365
• Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, and ISO standards
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or PMP
• Agile/Scrum certifications such as CSM, CSPO, or CSP-SM
• Exceptional communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and industry standards
• Familiarity with NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls
• Experience managing diverse teams of cybersecurity professionals
• Proven track record of delivering results in Agile project environments
