Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans including scope, schedule, milestones, resource requirements, budget, and metrics
• Simultaneously manage 5 or more projects of varying complexity, including customer production programs and Lean event completion plans
• Lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate activities across departments without direct report authority
• Monitor project progress, quality metrics, production schedules, delivery commitments, costs, and profit
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies with proposed mitigation strategies
• Facilitate communication among stakeholders, team members, and customers
• Step in to "fix" troubled projects midstream
• Manage, coach, and mentor other project managers
• Establish and maintain project management standards, processes, and best practices

Requirements

• Three to five years of related project management experience
• College degree in a non-technical discipline (e.g., BBA, BA, or BFA)
• Or achievement of journeyman status in a recognized trade
• Or in-depth industry and job-specific technical skills acquired through formal instruction and on-the-job training
