About the role
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of power distribution and protection system projects to ensure completion on-time and within budget
- Review project scope and develop schedules, communicating action items to engineering, purchasing, production, and quality control departments
- Manage project development from conception through completion for both large and small-scale programs
- Coordinate and lead meetings with customers to discuss project scope, requirements, and schedule updates
- Manage all budgets, schedules, scope development, and construction contracts for assigned projects
- Track project performance and communicate changes to customers and internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with the design group to adjust plans or specifications as needed and submit change orders
- Compare actual development costs against initial estimates to ensure cost containment
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in a related field (Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Project Management preferred)
- 3-7 years of project management experience
- Experience in utilities, substation engineering, or telecom industries
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP Certification
- Formal coursework or specialized training in project management
