About the Company

The GACC was established more than 75 years ago in New York City as an impartial promoter of commerce between Germany and the US. The GACC works together with the German American Chambers of Commerce in Atlanta, Chicago, San Francisco, and Washington D.C. under the umbrella AHK USA, supporting companies through market entry, legal services, recruitment, and business development.

Responsibilities

• Organizing and hosting industry events, business delegations, and startup delegations
• Consulting German companies on US market entry through desktop research and report writing
• Facilitating B2B matchmaking between German and American companies
• Organizing government-sponsored projects, market studies, and conferences
• Writing proposals for government projects and bidding opportunities
• Coordinating with key governmental partners in Germany
• Supporting the GACC virtual office services

Requirements

• BA in Business Administration, International Business, Business Law, or related field
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience
• Fluency in both German and English (written and verbal)
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and QuickBooks
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree
• Experience with both German and American business environments
• Cold-calling experience
