About the role
About the Company
The company owns three major events: Vélotour, Pop In The City, and a third currently being acquired. The goal is to build a multi-event platform offering immersive and unifying experiences that travel from city to city across France, allowing people to rediscover territories through strong, accessible event formats.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and visit host sites to evaluate technical feasibility and course potential
- Negotiate hosting conditions and financial terms with cities and site managers
- Prepare and submit administrative files to competent authorities (prefecture, town hall)
- Design and evolve obstacles, including technical specifications and material selection
- Map out courses based on topography, security, participant flow, and scenography
- Plan material transport in containers and coordinate on-site delivery
- Develop and manage assembly and disassembly schedules, including team allocation
- Verify compliance of obstacle assembly, the village area, and course marking
- Coordinate specific equipment rentals (aerial platforms, barriers, structures, etc.)
- Size the Provisional Emergency Device (DPS) and coordinate first aid providers
- Draft security files for authorities, including site plans and circulation plans
- Manage operational teams during assembly and events, as well as interns and apprentices
- Coordinate external providers and stakeholders on-site
- Monitor and manage event budgets, controlling expenses and proposing adjustments
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in project management or event production (ideally sports, leisure, or outdoor events)
- Ability to read plans and design or annotate site layouts
- Mastery of the regulatory framework for public events (security files, DPS, administrative authorizations)
- Proficiency in Google Sheets for budget and schedule tracking
- Valid driver's license (Permis B) required
- Availability to work weekends during event seasons (May, June, September, October)
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Ability to handle pressure and unforeseen circumstances
Preferred Qualifications
- CACES certification
- Electrical habilitation
