Project Manager CO2 Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee technical aspects of CO2 refrigeration system start-up, commissioning, and installation projects.
• Create and execute detailed project execution plans (PEP) to sequence activities and meet deadlines.
• Provide onsite and offsite technical guidance and troubleshooting to ensure compliance with industry standards and AMS specifications.
• Manage project resources, including time, equipment, and cost budgets, to meet estimated margins.
• Coordinate with customers, contractors, and team leaders to ensure successful project completion.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients to enhance relationships and identify future business opportunities.
• Travel to job sites (up to 90-100% of the time) to document reports and provide onsite supervision.
• Ensure all onsite activities adhere to DFR-AMS and customer safety standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 10+ years of experience in the refrigeration industry.
• Proven experience in CO2 refrigeration system start-up and commissioning.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot commercial refrigeration equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and P&IDs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Energy Management Systems (EMS) and controls such as Danfoss, CPC, or Carel.
• Strong understanding of parallel rack systems, refrigeration cycles, and system design.
• Excellent organizational and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage large-scale project budgets and financial reporting.
