Project Manager Claim Management

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic approaches for defending and enforcing commercial and technical claims in collaboration with project teams.
• Conduct negotiations with both contractors and customers regarding claims.
• Identify and assess potential claim risks within project business.
• Analyze contracts, specifications, and requirement documents to develop preventive claim strategies.
• Implement strategies in cooperation with purchasing, project management, and other business units.
• Support the procurement and bidding processes by actively shaping supply contracts and technical specifications.
• Contribute to the expansion of group-wide claim management and facilitate cross-departmental workshops.

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Engineering or a comparable qualification.
• Professional experience in project management, technical procurement, claim management, or plant/machinery procurement.
• Strong understanding of contract terms, specifications, and commercial KPIs.
• Knowledge of commercial law.
• Fluent English skills (written and spoken).
• Ability to link commercial, technical, and legal aspects of complex issues.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to undertake occasional business travel.
