Project Manager (Civils & Electrical)

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of residential LV connection projects from planning through to completion
• Oversee civils and electrical works including link boxes, multi-major loops, excavations, reinstatement, and jointing activities
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, DNOs, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
• Coordinate and manage multidisciplinary teams of electricians, jointers, and civils crews
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental (HSQE) policies
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, procurement and project progress
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and quality checks
• Manage risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Ensure accurate documentation, including project reports and as-built records

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in utilities, civils or electrical infrastructure
• Strong understanding of residential LV connections, including link boxes and multi-major loops
• Knowledge of civils interfaces such as excavations, reinstatement and utility coordination
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and programmes
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with DNOs such as SSE, SPEN or UKPN
• HNC/HND in Electrical or Civil Engineering
• Formal project management qualification (APM, Prince2, etc.)
• Familiarity with HV systems up to 33kV
