Project Manager - Civil Programs

Responsibilities

• Manage aircraft acquisition, completion, maintenance, and repair projects for civil programs
• Coordinate multiple departments to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget
• Develop and track project timelines using MS Project, including critical path analysis
• Establish and manage project budgets, tracking Cost Performance Indicators (CPI)
• Guide customers through the aircraft acquisition process and manage the customer experience
• Oversee contract management, including technical advice during the proposal phase and tracking change orders
• Assess and mitigate project risks to prevent crises

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Program Management, or equivalent experience
• 3 years of aerospace project management experience, specifically in aircraft completions, maintenance, or repair
• Must be a US Person under ITAR definition (U.S. Citizen, green card holder, or covered under existing ITAR license)
• Knowledge of FAA regulations and aerospace design/certification processes
• Proficiency in MS Project, MS Excel, and MS Office Suite
• Experience with financial budgeting and technical data packages
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally (10-20%)
• Must be currently local to the Columbus, MS area

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field
• Professional Project or Program Management Certification
