Project Manager - Civil Engineering

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, and requirements with internal clients
• Prepare cost estimates and develop project budgets
• Perform engineering design, calculations, site measurements, and technical specifications
• Coordinate construction permit applications and regulatory approvals
• Manage the tendering process and evaluate contractor bids
• Support environmental permit applications
• Monitor project progress regarding scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards
• Act as primary liaison between suppliers, subcontractors, and stakeholders
• Manage project administration including progress reports and change orders
• Conduct post-project reviews to identify improvement opportunities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction engineering
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in civil engineering or construction
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation and active membership
• Bilingual in English and French
• Ability to travel throughout Eastern Ontario, Quebec, and the Atlantic provinces
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
