Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate construction projects
• Assist with a portfolio of capital design or construction projects across the five boroughs
• Act as the key contact during scoping, design, and construction procurement phases
• Ensure projects meet DDC’s Commitment Plan objectives and follow completion schedules
• Apprise Senior Project Managers of scheduling, construction, and design issues
• Maintain project budgets and costs
• Liaise between contractors, DDC, and sponsor agencies
• Maintain comprehensive project history files and coordinate project schedules
• Prepare change orders, project correspondence, and reports

Requirements

• Permanent status in the Project Manager title or reachable on the Open Competitive List (Exam #4076)
• Baccalaureate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, urban planning, or related field plus one year of project management experience; OR
• High school diploma plus five years of relevant experience; OR
• A combination of education and experience equivalent to five years
• Must be authorized to work full-time in the United States without sponsorship
