Project Manager, Capital Stress Testing

Responsibilities

• Support the management and execution of the Bank’s capital management framework, including capital planning, monitoring, and regulatory reporting
• Provide advice to internal and external stakeholders regarding capital planning, monitoring, and execution of capital transactions
• Monitor external markets to understand best practices and recommend adoption within the organization
• Lead or participate in change management activities, including readiness assessments, stakeholder management, and execution of initiatives
• Apply specialized knowledge to interpret regulatory capital rules and recommend capital management solutions
• Conduct analysis to evaluate the capital impacts of bank initiatives, such as acquisitions
• Plan capital requirements and develop recommendations for capital targets and allocation methodologies
• Monitor capital usage, supply, and adequacy, and support enterprise capital adequacy assessments in partnership with Risk Management
• Gather and format data into regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards to provide capital management insights

Requirements

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in Finance, Capital Markets, or Treasury
• Proven experience managing complex projects and engaging with diverse stakeholder groups
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory capital management concepts and capital markets business
• Strong proficiency in financial analysis and financial modeling
• Deep understanding of accounting, balance sheet, and risk management concepts and practices
• Excellent verbal and written communication, collaboration, and influence skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA in Finance
• Professional certifications such as CA, CFA, CGA, or CMA
