Project Manager & Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Serve as the strategic lead for Data Migration and Data Integration workstreams during major enterprise application implementations.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops to identify source systems, data ownership, and "to-be" state requirements.
• Document complex data mapping requirements, including source-to-target logic and transformation rules.
• Perform gap analysis between legacy data structures and new application architectures.
• Own the project plan for the data migration phase, tracking milestones from discovery through final cutover.
• Manage risks and issues related to data quality, security, and privacy constraints.
• Coordinate with technical teams to ensure functional clarity for building ETL pipelines.
• Lead the development of "Go-Live" runbooks to minimize system downtime.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in Project Manager (PM) or Business Analyst (BA) roles.
• Demonstrable focus on Data Migration or Data Integration projects.
• Deep understanding of migration approaches (e.g., Big Bang vs. Phased) and integration patterns (e.g., Real-time vs. Batch).
• Expert-level facilitation skills to lead diverse groups through complex decision-making.
• Strong ability to translate technical data challenges into plain language for executive leadership.
• Conceptual understanding of the data lifecycle, including extraction, transformation, loading, and validation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with government procurement, security standards, or agency-specific data hurdles.
• Experience with Data Profiling tools or concepts.
• Familiarity with Master Data Management (MDM) principles.
• Knowledge of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) design specifically for data sets.
