Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, manage and evaluate facility maintenance, operations, contracts, and projects from conception to completion
• Oversee personnel needs including coaching, training, and performance evaluation
• Serve as relationship manager to clients at both operational and strategic levels
• Manage overall operation of projects and facilities regarding safety, productivity, and efficiency
• Coordinate facility utility activities such as boilers, emergency generators, and electrical units
• Prepare proposals for contract scope changes and manage project costs and reporting
• Schedule and supervise subcontracted personnel
• Maintain adherence to health, safety, quality control, and environmental policies

Requirements

• Secondary diploma or degree in engineering, business administration, or a technical field
• 5-10 years of experience in managing projects or facilities
• Working knowledge of building electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and structural systems
• Solid experience leading a mechanical maintenance team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical manuals
• Knowledge of Local and National electrical, building, and fire codes
• Strong leadership and time management skills
